As North Carolina continues its push for sports betting some of the professional teams in the area have stepped in to back to bill. So far the NHL Hurricanes, NFL Carolina Panthers, and the NBA Charlotte Hornets have all backed the bill to legalize sports betting. If passed the legislation will allow these teams as well as the Charlotte Motor Speedway and PGA Tour golf courses to operate sports betting lounges on or near their properties.
