Louisiana finally saw its first full month of college football sports betting and as a result revenue has spiked, bringing in around $4 millions in fees for September. This boost bring the total year to dat tax revenue for sports betting to $22 million with the state now expected to surpass its original $30 million projection. The Gaming Control Board has also recently approved the sports betting operator WynnBet for a five-year deal.
