A new partnership between two industry giants has just been announced. The deal marks a multi-year partnership between DraftKings and Churchill Downs for pari-mutual wagering on its famed horse racing. The details show that DraftKings will move forward with the launch of DK Horse, a new standalone app that will allow its bettors to place wagers on horse racing. The launch is planned to come before the upcoming Kentucky Derby in May 2023, with app available for the 21 states that DraftKings operates in. A quote from Bill Carstanjen, the CEO of Churchill Downs Incorporated states, “We believe the depth and quality of our online offering through TwinSpires is unmatched in horse racing… We are excited to establish this relationship with DraftKings and to deliver a full end-to-end white label ADW solution that will introduce their significant base of sports betting customers to horse racing wagering.”
