Kentucky sports betting bill will not be passed this year

Enthusiasts hoped for a last minute committee hearing instead the committee finished up lesser-known bills and recognized members who are retiring. The sports wagering would include online poker, and betting on fantasy sports. It was expected to generate $22.5 million per year in taxes if legalized.
