What to expect for 2022 Super bowl LVI handles
In the past you only had two options where you could place a bet on the Super Bowl, Nevada or illegally. Now more than half of the United States has legal sports betting. Last year for Super Bowl 55 with seventeen legal jurisdictions they reported $486.4 million in betting handles, with Nevada and New Jersey handling the most at just over $110 million each. The American Gaming Association has estimated that $7.6 billion in legal wagers will be placed. The addition of mobile sports betting in New York alone will mean massive growth in legal handles.
